I joined BRAC’s London office in November 2023 as the Deputy CEO and Director of Partnerships. For the last two years, I have been in Tajikistan, where I was the Head of Partnerships at the Aga Khan Foundation. Prior to that, I was the head of Institutional Funding and Partnerships at WaterAid in London. I have also worked for Oxfam for over 8 years in various roles including as Head of Donor Partnerships, Strategic Business Development Manager, Partnerships Development Manager (Nordic Governments), Regional programme development and funding coordinator for the Middle East and CIS and Interim Country Director in Lebanon.
My role is to lead the Partnerships Team, playing a leadership role for our Europe team to build strong donor partnerships across Europe, including the UK. Having admired BRAC’s incredible work for nearly two decades, I’m thrilled to now be part of this remarkable movement of exceptional individuals, all driven by the shared ambition to create a just world where people can live free from fear and want.

In August 2023, I joined the BRAC UK team as the Philanthropy Lead, with the responsibility of developing and implementing BRAC UK’s first Individual and Major Donor Philanthropy strategy in the UK and Europe.
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, I moved to London in 2017 to complete my MA in Conflict, Security and Development at King’s College, following the completion of my Peace Corps service in Moldova as an educational development specialist. From there, I kicked-off my career in philanthropy, first working as a philanthropy advisor to charities and HNWIs looking to develop their fundraising and philanthropic strategies. I then transitioned to the charity sector where I’ve worked with INGO and grassroot charities, spearheading their major donor programme development, emphasising collective philanthropy and fostering a ‘Community of Supporters’ for effective networking. In my spare time I play soccer and am an avid supporter of Luton Town FC.
I am immensely proud to be joining a southern-led organisation that champions a localised approach to development. The innovative solutions we develop and implement have a tangible impact on the lives of millions, breaking the cycle of poverty and empowering communities.

I joined BRAC in July 2023 as the Partnerships Officer for Africa. In my role, I am responsible for assisting with fundraising strategies and plans to secure diversified funding for Africa programmes, whilst also supporting in-country teams with project coordination and donor compliance.
Prior to BRAC, I was the Programmes and Partnerships Manager at ARK Group International, a UK based organization focussed on supporting investment and fundraising efforts on behalf of small growing businesses that are advancing sustainable development goals across Africa. At ARK, I worked across an array of sectors, ranging from waste management, off-grid energy, agriculture, circular economies, and conservation. My work heavily involved supporting domestic firms to access grant funding and break down the systematic barriers they face when interacting with the donor landscape.
My professional interests include poverty alleviation, global value chains, social enterprise development, climate resilience and adaptation, and migration. I hold an MSc in Development studies from SOAS and possess extensive experience in policy analysis and research.
It is an absolute pleasure to work at BRAC and be a part of a wonderful team. BRAC possesses an impressive track record of addressing poverty and inequality through innovative and sustainable approaches. BRAC’s emphasis on scalability, impact, and mission to empower the most marginalised communities and individuals, especially women and girls, aligns with my own philosophy of development.

After five years of experience working in the humanitarian sector, I am excited to have joined the BRAC UK partnerships team. As the Partnerships Officer for our Asia Portfolio, I am supporting BRAC’s teams in Bangladesh, the Philippines, Afghanistan, and Myanmar by ensuring a smooth grant management process, building and maintaining partnerships with donors across Europe, and developing high-quality proposals.
Prior to joining the development and humanitarian sector, I studied Politics and International Relations in Scotland and completed my Master’s Degree in 2018. Following this, I joined a British-based NGO in a research position before moving into the programmes department and finally overseeing their emergency response programme with projects across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. I have a strong interest in resilience building and climate adaptation, as well as ensuring a focus on effective safeguarding across all programming.
I am proud to support BRAC’s strong principles of southern-led development by drawing on our vast experience of innovative piloting to achieve success at scale.
