Kamilla Drøidal
Trusts and Foundations Manager (Nordics) / Head of Nordics
I joined BRAC in 2025 as Trusts and Foundations Manager and Head of Nordics, based in Copenhagen. In this role I connect global development initiatives with Nordic philanthropic priorities across early childhood development, education, health and climate adaptation, working with funders who want to move beyond transactional grants towards long-term, co-created partnerships.
I have spent my career at the intersection of social impact, philanthropy and organisational leadership. Before BRAC, I was CEO of the Melting Pot Foundation and, prior to that, CEO of LOKK, Denmark's national organisation of women's shelters, where I grew the team from two to eleven staff and raised more than 14 million DKK. I spent four years at DIGNITY, the Danish Institute Against Torture, latterly as Director of Communication and Fundraising, and earlier held fundraising and partnership roles at SOS Children's Villages. My earlier career included key account and project management roles in the pharmaceutical and events sectors.
I hold an Executive Master's in Leading and Innovating in Complex Systems from Aarhus University. I work in several languages, including English, Danish, and Italian.
